Finally theres an app for that! This is so much easier than trying to navigate the website on my iPod Touch. The interface is clean and easy to use and placing a hold is a breeze. Great job, OPL!
Not a bad app! Everything I need is there! Can you add something so it recommends books for you based on previous books? Love the My Browsing section! Keeps everything in order so now I wont miss my book because the stupid automated caller called me two weeks after the book was gone!
Love the app, but it still could be improved. A push notification option would be a great addition. That way, you would get notifications about books coming due, overdue, holds, etc. Still a great app!
Really good app, but please add the "for later" list to the my borrowing section. When I want to request a book from my for later list, I cant do it through the app. Add that feature and I will rate it 5 out of 5. Thanks!
Good:
One of my use-every-few-days apps. When are my books due? Anything overdue? What number am I on the hold list? Renew items.
Bad:
Slow to load info.
Future enhancement needed:
Allow me to set up SMS reminders on items coming due.
This app is easier to operate than the OPL website. I was able to browse new books, see my account status and place holds. I like it.
Some bad moments
Was a great app when i downloaded in feb but now it takes too long to load if it even loads. Ive notified developer and received no response or fix. Dont waste your time until it works again if it ever does!
The app accumulates data whenever you browse the library and never deletes it. Ive got 305 MB of data related to this app. This is unacceptable. Have a look at your Settings, General and then Storage.
Old app no longer has access. Have older phone which new OPL app will not support. Goodbye OPL. Will miss you!!
Wont load on my old iTouch. Additional functionality questionable.
App used to be great but now doesnt work. Login window has no info, keeps shutting down, cant get info. Useless.
Slow to start up, apparently never deletes anything in its cache (350MBytes and counting...)
[update 3: guess what? Crashes if you try and delete the bloated cache again in the new release. What a surprise. ]
It once WAS a very useful app: but it now refuses to run except on older IOS versions (for no good reason - no functionality was added). Also given how long the cache bugs have persisted, one has to question the competence of the development team.
